Safety is the main concern of BRITISH BULKERS. It has always been a priority that its managed Ships and Crew are operating at the highest possible standards of Safety and in full compliance with IMO and/or other Rules and Regulations. Evidence to this, are the absolutely clean records of the Company's ships and the successfully undergone Port State Control and Flag State inspections at various intervals. Quality is an on-going, never-ending and genuine effort to provide services exceeding Client's expectations, through a structured and systematic process for continuous improvement.

Company's Offices

In order to achieve the above and successfully implement its "Safety & Environmental Protection Policy", the Company has developed, implements and maintains a SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS) in accordance and in full compliance with IMO's ISM Code. The Company's SMS ensures compliance with all Rules and Regulations, which include :

  • ISM/ISPS
  • MARPOL
  • STCW
  • LOAD LINES
  • COLREG
  • ILO

Plus all other Guidelines, Codes, Circulars and Standards applied or recommended by the IMO, Flag State Administrations, Classification Societies and local Authorities.
